Crosthwaite Commercial has completed the sale of Ye Old Bulls Head public house and the adjacent Piggery in Little Hucklow, Buxton on behalf of mortgagees in possession. The price achieved was £170,000. The Bulls Head has been semi-derelict for a number of years and is believed to be one of the oldest pubs in England. The property has been purchased by a local resident who intends to fully reinstate the pub and re-open for trade later in the year.
