Crosthwaite Commercial have been jointly instructed alongside Mark Jenkinson & Son, to find a purchaser for Ash House, a former care home on Ash House Lane, Dore, Sheffield. Unconditional offers in excess of £2,000,000 are invited.

The building was originally constructed in 1915 as a private dwelling but in later years has been used as a residential care home and was extended in the 1980’s. The two storey property extends to 12,450 sq ft and is located in grounds of 5.8 acres.

Mark Holmes from Crosthwaite Commercial commented "This is a rare opportunity for someone to acquire a substantial property set within extensive grounds on the edge of the Peak District, which could be a spectacular private residence or alternatively a conversion of the buildings to apartments. There has been excellent early interest, which is expected given properties in this location and of this size and heritage rarely come to market”

Mohammed Mahroof at Mark Jenkinson added “This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to purchase a property such as this. We have had parties looking at this for a private residence or a conversion to flat, both options offer a unique exciting project”
